On October 7, 2023, community engagement services extended their outreach to Samal (IGaCoS) Kaputian, facilitating a transformative leadership workshop training at Sto. Niño Parish Kaputian.
Edward James Legaspi and Kenneth Kharl Loqueno displayed their charismatic hosting skills as they delivered engaging opening remarks during the leadership workshop training.
The program, spearheaded by ACD-Community Engagement and Services office, aims to transcend parish boundaries and create a network of empowered individuals capable of steering positive change in their respective communities.
The initiative emphasizes a multifaceted approach to leadership development, participants engage in workshops focusing on strategic planning, conflict resolution, and community outreach.
The goal is to equip individuals with the skills needed to address the unique challenges faced by their communities.
Local leaders believe that by fostering a culture of leadership at the grassroots level, they can create a ripple effect that positively influences the entire island. “Our vision is to empower individuals to become proactive leaders who can drive sustainable development and social cohesion,” said Antonio Reyes, one of the participants.
