March 30– A kick-off meeting with the BSHM team leaders and subject instructors commenced the planning for the course’s future face-to-face events.
Since it is an academic endeavor, three integrated subjects in Catering Management, Introduction to MICE, and Events Management collaborated for the planning of the anticipated activities.
"We should be grateful for this opportunity to participate in, learn from, and enjoy face-to-face events."
The first event on deck was a three-part workshop series was slated to start on May 2, 2022 with a theme, “Showcasing Expertise and Honing Skills for our Future Professional Careers.” The series invited experts in Food Carving, Latter Art and Mixology.
“Learning entails more than just listening to lectures and reading educational articles, it is also important to accumulate experiences in applying your skills, as learning and growth is a combination of thoughts and actions, ’” said by the MICE instructor, Mr. Rianne John Catalya.
These events were projected to perform actual event planning and organization, generate income for the association’s forecasting, and share knowledge and mold abilities for all invested participants in this field.
