Assumption College of Davao Celebrates 6th Pinning Ceremony

Assumption College of Davao (ACD) marked a significant milestone on December 13, 2024, as the institution held its 6th Pinning Ceremony for Batch 2024-2025 at the ACD Gym. With the theme Pinned in Faith: Guided by Synodality, the event underscored the essence of faith, unity, and collaboration as senior students embark on their internship journey.

The ceremony commenced with a Holy Mass, providing a solemn and spiritual foundation for the occasion. Following the Eucharistic celebration, the official pinning rites began, graced by esteemed faculty members and distinguished guests.

Dr. Cristy Q. Efondo warmly welcomed the attendees with her opening remarks, emphasizing the significance of this event in shaping the students’ academic and professional growth. The Head of the Records and Register Management Office (RRMO), Hector S. Damao, MAT, presented the 204 candidates for pinning, who Dr. Judith N. Ambalong, the Dean of the College, officially accepted.

The event featured an inspirational message from Dr. Elsa D. Villanueva, ACD’s Vice President for Formation and Student Services. She elaborated on the theme, highlighting the importance of faith and teamwork in building strong, service-oriented professionals.

Concluding the ceremony, Viennalyn G. Vallentis, MBA, delivered heartfelt closing remarks, urging the newly pinned candidates to uphold the values instilled in them by ACD as they transition into their internships.

The 6th Pinning Ceremony was a memorable and meaningful event that reinforced ACD’s commitment to developing competent and faith-driven individuals prepared to make a positive impact in their chosen fields and communities.
