ACD-Office of Student Affairs and Discipline Reinforces Policies and Updates Through College Handbook Reorientation

In a proactive move to ensure that students remain well-informed and aligned with institutional values, the ACD-Office of Student Affairs and Discipline (ACD-OSAD) spearheaded the College Handbook Reorientation for the 2nd Semester of AY 2024-2025. The event took place on January 16, 2025, at the Assumption College of Davao (ACD) Gym, bringing together students from various programs to revisit policies and gain insights into the newly revised College Handbook (2024 Revised Edition).

Mr. Melvin Jay Canoy, OSAD Coordinator, led the session, emphasizing the importance of adhering to institutional policies and standards. He meticulously reviewed key provisions in the handbook, reinforcing expectations regarding student conduct, academic integrity, and campus regulations. Additionally, he highlighted significant updates incorporated in the 2024 Revised Edition, ensuring that students are well-acquainted with the latest guidelines.

This initiative serves as a crucial platform to uphold the core values of Assumption College of Davao, fostering a culture of responsibility, respect, and discipline among its student body. By familiarizing students with the latest policies, the institution aims to create a well-regulated academic environment that supports holistic development and student success.

The College Handbook Reorientation not only sets the tone for the new semester but also reinforces the commitment of ACD to maintaining a structured and student-centered academic community. Through this, students are empowered to navigate their educational journey with clarity, accountability, and a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities within the institution.
