BSBA EDUCATIONAL TOUR
AY 2022-2023
Educational tours are a way of enhancing classroom learning by making real-world connections. The tour gives students the opportunity to observe a particular environment that enables a first-hand experience of what they are learning. In addition, students achieved a higher level of critical thinking when they evaluated their own learning compared with what they were exposed to, and they were able to modify their knowledge based on their personal experiences.
For this academic year 2022–2023, the BSBA students and faculty members had the opportunity to travel and visit various companies and tourist destinations in Davao City, Cebu City, and Bohol, dated January 17–20, 2023. The group was composed of 42 students and 2 faculty members for the Cebu and Bohol Tour and 17 students and 1 faculty member for the Davao City Tour. This is a one-time event for the students to see the actual application of the theories they have been studying in the classroom.
