Feb 18– With presentations from different grade levels and selected clubs, learners from the Elementary and Junior High School Unit  virtually celebrated the Bible Week.

The event was a showcase of the learners knowledge on the Bible through their talents and creativity: the Elementary learners flexed their poster making outputs, the Grade Seven learners delivered a parable, the Grade Eight learners shared Bible Trivia and donned their costumes in the “Saints Look-alike” segment, the Grade Nine students participated in Extemporaneous Speech and the Grade 10 learners presented a “Character Portrayal” of some Bible Characters.

“I was really amazed at the poster showcased by the learners. Indeed, they have improved a lot,” said the Filipino Area Supervisor, Ms Marilou Bustamante.

The celebration was also both entertaining and meaningful with Club Recitals: an intermission number from the Hymnus Club and the Campus Journalism Club and a drama presentation about the Creation from the Liturgical Servers.

“We learned a lot after the event and had fun at the same time. I realized that this should always be celebrated to bring us together to read our favorite verses and share personal interpretations with the world. With that, I can say that this program ended successfully,” said a Grade Six Learner, Jenelle Suba-an.

This year’s Bible Week theme, “God Heals a Suffering World” is a reminder that God saves in the midst of all the suffering brought by the pandemic and wars.
