The ACD community launched the Feast of the Holy Rosary last October 4. Along with this, a Holy Mass was also offered for Worlds Educators Day.
In the Holy Mass presided by Rev. Archimedes A. Lachica, SJ, he emphasized that in this month of many occasions, the heart will remain in prayer as we remember the month of Rosary.
“In honor of our blessed mother we imbibed the attitude of hers of being someone who listens, who is also sensitive and discerning of the presence of the Lord in every day life which is also appropriate to be remembered in our educators,”
A video presentation was also prepared by the students for their teachers. They expressed their appreciation for their teachers’ efforts in making education possible amidst the pandemic.
Sr. Elvira D. Soleminio, ACD president, also greeted the teachers and acknowledged their courage to challenge their profession.
“You are putting together distance learning plans, and it seems like you have adapted your teaching in the blink of the eye… I commend your power to ignite the imagination, inspire hope and instill a love for learning.” Sr. Elvie in her Teachers’ Day message.
As one community, the Holy Rosary is prayed daily every morning with reflections commemorating the Season of Creation and Indigenous People’s month for the whole month of October.
