Community Extension Services Coordinator, Mr. Aldrin Dais, led the contingent of ACD students who joined the “People’s SONA” march-rally from Freedom Park to Rizal Park.
The Assumption College of Davao Community welcomedthe historic State of the Nation Address of President Rodrigo RoaDuterte on Monday, July 25, with a short program in the morning to show its support to the country’s first President from Mindanao who is fondly called Mayor President in this city.
Speaking about the rationale of the event, ACD Research and Planning Officer, Mr. JoprizBueno, said that the short institutional program mirrored the renewed hope of many Filipinos in the new Chief Executive to bring about necessary social changes.
Converging in the school’s gymnasium, pupils and students from the grade school, junior high school, senior high school, and college departments together with faculty members and non-teaching personnel including those from Assumption Technical-Vocational Institute, chanted their calls and aspirations for change.
